Once upon a Queen...

About: She,Me , Her, The one

I was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, where you can find your seclusive urban hippie. As a result of networking and discovering many things during her upbringing, she was blessed with a number of opportunities. Having learned each neighborhood of the city and meeting so many people as time progressed, Lo was destined to become the great divine woman that she is today.

It was a blessing to go to a diverse elementary school from Pre-K to 8th Grade in a neighborhood that values acceptance of all people, whether they are black or white, Atheist or Buddhist. With the great impression it left on her, this urban hippie set out to empower the genius within her. In doing so, she intentionally entered high school with the goal of becoming an entrepreneur/real estate attorney.

How did you know what career you wanted so early in life? Or, what inspired you?

"Simple, I knew myself and what I wanted due to several contributing factors."

1. The Cosby show, our great actress Phyliccia Rashad, as Clair Huxtable.

- The Matriarch of the Huxtable family. Clair is a graduate of the fictional Hillman College located in Virginia. Clair is the matriarch of the upper middle class Huxtable family. A lawyer, Clair is the mother of five children. Clair tends to serve as primary disciplinarian to her children – and occasionally to Cliff as well. "a warm, loving mother."

LET'S NOT FORGET HER SUITS!!!

"My inspiration to become a business woman came from Clair. I loved her style, her demeanor, and how classy and fun she was. As a mother of five, she was so alive and vibrant. She had such a levelheaded personality and was the one that truly controlled everything while working as a full-time lawyer. I thought that was really impressive. I still value that show a great deal because I learn so much from it every time. It wasn't that I wanted to be Clair Huxtable, but I just knew that I wanted to be just as powerful, if not more so, with similar qualities if not better".

Who else inspired you?

Fran Drescher "The Nanny" - I just loved her outfits and personality
Taraji P. Henson - Cookie Lyon was one of my favorite Characters
Tyler Perry - One of the best Entrepreneurs I've ever seen
Iyanla Vanzant -  A life Coach guru that taught me how to be with people.
Amara La Negra - An afro latina that is paving the way to prove the world that though she is dark skinned in a industry that doesn't favor her shade, she can have it all.
Jill ScottI just love that neo soul divine woman. Her natural hair styles and shape showed me that I can embrace my curves and authentic look without fear of criticism.
Mama Patti Labelle - There's too many things I can say about this living Diva. NEVER SPEAK ILL ON THIS WOMAN IN FRONT OF ME OR ELSE! >.>
